Asian startups attracted $184.8 million in disclosed funding this week across fintech, healthtech, data centre infrastructure, medtech, quick commerce, and AI, with India accounting for the largest funding rounds, led by Navi Finserv’s $100 million investment from Prosus, while Japan and China also attracted significant capital.

The Week’s Biggest Startup Funding Rounds

Here are the most notable startup funding announcements across Asia, ranked from highest to lowest.

/1. Navi, $100 Million, Fintech, India

Indian fintech Navi Finserv has secured $100 million from Prosus in its first external institutional funding round, adding fresh capital to the business as it works toward its goal of building a technology-led financial services business in India.

The investment gives Prosus, through its subsidiary MIH Payments Holdings BV, a minority position in Navi and puts the company at a valuation of about $2 billion.

This funding comes as Navi considers a public listing at a similar valuation. The fintech is expected to file its draft IPO papers by December 2026, although the Prosus deal remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Competition Commission of India.

/2. Craif, $33 Million, Healthtech, Japan

Tokyo-based Craif has closed $33 million in Series D funding for its urine analysis platform, which uses bio-AI to support the early detection of cancer and other diseases.

The financing consists of $30.7 million in equity and $3.3 million in debt led by Granite-Integral, Tauns Co., and other backers.

With the latest financing, Craif has now raised $88 million in total with the aim of directing the new capital toward its US R&D activities and preparations for the launch of its non-invasive cancer test in the US, where it expects reimbursement to play a role in adoption.
