Startups across Latin America raised more than $4.99 million this week across disclosed funding rounds and investments, with most of the capital going to fintech. Funding also went to Brazilian social selling and edtech startups developing tools for businesses and municipal education systems.

The Week's Largest Startup Funding Rounds

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds and investments across Latin America this week.

1. Klubi, More Than $3.74M, Fintech, Brazil

Brazilian fintech Klubi received an additional investment of more than R$20M, approximately $3.74M, from Patria Investimentos. The investment is the second extension of Klubi's Series A round, which initially opened in late 2024 with R$45M. Patria's latest investment brings its total capital invested in the company to more than R$60M since 2021.

Founded in 2020, Klubi sells consortium plans online where members pay into a pooled group fund and take turns receiving credit to buy the asset, without paying interest the way a loan works. This could allow customers to access credit for purchases such as mobile phones, motorcycles, cars, and real estate.

2. Gaio, $1.03M, Social Selling, Brazil

Brazilian social selling startup Gaio raised R$5.5M, approximately $1.03M, in a seed round led by G4. The investment also included an undisclosed fund and angel investors. Gaio helps brands and creators manage Instagram interactions, identify engaged followers, and convert conversations into sales.

The company plans to use the funding to evolve its platform into an AI-native solution that can identify sales opportunities and handle customer conversations with less human intervention.
