Xbox's 25th anniversary celebration just picked up speed. Starting today, every player who signs into their Xbox account on console, PC, or mobile automatically receives a free 25th Anniversary profile badge, and Microsoft has also revealed the full schedule for its global FanFest Tour.
Displaying the anniversary logo with the dates 2001–2026, the badge can be equipped from profile settings, and stays claimable through the end of 2026, so there's no rush, but no reason to skip it either.
The FanFest Tour kicks off at Gamescom in Cologne on August 26, followed by stops in Tokyo, London, Mexico City, Sydney, Toronto, and a still-to-be-announced date in Seattle. Attendance at each stop runs through city-specific sweepstakes rather than traditional ticket sales.
Both rewards are part of Microsoft's year-long celebration leading up to Xbox's 25th anniversary on November 15, 2026, commemorating a quarter-century since the launch of the original Xbox console. Xbox has also rolled out free community-designed customization options and a curated Game Pass collection, details below.

Available now on Xbox consoles and the Xbox PC app, the collection includes:
- New Xbox gamerpics
