Xbox is heading into September with a packed release schedule, ranging from major AAA launches and returning franchises to indie adventures, simulators, and several new Xbox Game Pass additions.
Some of the month's biggest releases include The Blood of Dawnwalker, NBA 2K27, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Mewgenics, Control Resonant, EA Sports FC 27, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered.
There are also plenty of smaller releases spread throughout the month, so whether you're looking for a new RPG, sports game, strategy title or something completely different, September has a lot to offer.

The Blood of Dawnwalker — September 3
The highly anticipated dark fantasy RPG from Rebel Wolves arrives on September 3. The Blood of Dawnwalker puts players in the role of Coen, a man who becomes a vampire and must use his supernatural abilities to save his family in 14th-century Europe.
NBA 2K27 — September 4
Basketball fans get their annual dose of NBA action with NBA 2K27 on September 4. The latest entry brings updates across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA, with new systems and features designed to make the basketball experience deeper than ever.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword — September 4
Capcom's legendary samurai series returns with Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Set in Kyoto, the game follows an Oni Gauntlet-wielding samurai as he battles the Genma in brutal, fast-paced combat.
Halloween — September 8
Michael Myers returns in Halloween, arriving on September 8. The game is built around the iconic 1978 horror film, giving players the chance to either become the Boogeyman or try to survive him.
Mewgenics — September 8
From the creators of The Binding of Isaac comes Mewgenics, a turn-based roguelike tactics game where players breed and build an army of cats before sending them into dangerous adventures.
Control Resonant — September 24
Remedy's Control Resonant takes players into a warped version of Manhattan as Dylan Faden battles a reality-bending threat. The action-adventure RPG builds on the supernatural world established by the original Control.
EA Sports FC 27 — September 25
EA Sports FC 27 arrives on September 25 with new gameplay improvements and The Grounds, a new football playground that blends street football with the stadium experience.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered — September 29
One of the month's biggest releases is actually a major upgrade. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered brings visual, performance and gameplay enhancements to CD Projekt Red's acclaimed RPG, including both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 — September 29
The month closes with Minecraft Dungeons 2, a new action-packed adventure that expands the Minecraft spin-off with more exploration, combat, and loot.
