A trifecta fueled by AI goodness
It's not every week that we see a flurry of products.
The tech world often experiences a flurry of new developments, and this week was one of the most intense in recent memory. With Computex, Microsoft Build, and Google I/O all happening this week, it was a full-on trifecta of AI-fueled announcements.
Microsoft Build 2025 focused on developers, unveiling Copilot+ PCs with photographic memory, GitHub upgrades, and even a new terminal-based text editor. Meanwhile, Google I/O doubled down on Gemini AI, integrating it into everything from Android to Workspace, with premium pricing to match.
But, the real game-changer? NVIDIA’s NVLink and NVLink Switch, revealed at Computex. This new interconnect tech links up to 72 GPUs via a single “spine” with 130 TB/s of transfer speed, according to Jensen Huang, more than the entire Internet (900 Tb/s).
Gamers, don’t get too excited—this isn’t for PCs. But in the world of AI infrastructure, NVLink could redefine what’s possible.
