Electronic Arts has officially opened preorders for EA Sports UFC 6, the next major installment in its long-running MMA franchise, with the game set to launch on June 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

For fight fans, this marks the return of EA’s flagship UFC series nearly three years after its previous release, with promises of more realistic combat, upgraded visuals, and expanded career storytelling.

Players can reserve the standard edition for $70 for the physical edition of PS5, $70 physical edition for the Xbox Series X, and the digital standard edition on both platforms.

All preorders include the Iconic Moments Bundle, featuring three exclusive fighter skins celebrating memorable UFC history.

UFC 6 Ultimate Edition Details

For players looking for premium content, the Ultimate Edition costs $100 and includes full base game, iconic Moments Bundle, 7-day early access (June 12–18), expansion Pass, VIP Pass, 5 exclusive fighter skins, 6 VIP cosmetic items, 3 VIP emojis, rivalry Bundle, 2 bonus fighter skins, 500 UFC Points, fighter Pass, 8 launch fighters, and 6 future DLC fighters as this edition is digital-only.

Physical Edition Differences

There’s one major distinction between console versions. PS5 physical copy includes full game data on disc, while the Xbox Series X physical copy requires a full digital download despite the physical packaging.

This difference may matter for collectors or players with limited bandwidth.

What’s New in UFC 6?

Electronic Arts says UFC 6 will feature improved striking systems, enhanced fighter responsiveness, more realistic damage and impact physics, updated Frostbite visuals, and a narrative-driven career mode with branching choices.

The new career mode appears to be one of the game’s biggest upgrades, offering more replayability and player-driven outcomes than previous entries. EA also appears to be leaning heavily into immersion this year, combining sports simulation with story progression.

Potential strengths include stronger single-player depth, expanded fighter roster, long-term DLC support, modernized gameplay systems, and more live-service monetization through passes and cosmetics.
