If you post on TikTok, Instagram, X, or YouTube and don't have a website, there's a Google tool for you. It shows exactly how those social posts perform in Search, including what's showing up and what people typed to find it.

Google rolled out the feature, called platform properties, globally on July 29, after Search Console product lead Moshe Samet first announced it on July 7.

Setup takes about five minutes, and Google says it can take a few days after that for the data to start showing up.

/1. Log into Google Search Console

/2. Click "Add property" and select TikTok, Instagram, X or YouTube

/3. Verify the account through Google's on-screen steps
