After experiencing growth for eight consecutive quarters, the Indian market for personal computers, including desktop computers, laptops, and tablets, experienced a decline. This was marked by a 4% year-over-year decrease in shipments to 5.1 million units.

The largest contributor to this decline was the sharp 21% decrease in laptop shipments. However, there were notable annual increases in both desktop and tablet shipments, with 36% and 24% growth to 766,000 units and 1.5 million units, respectively, in the third quarter.
