The Neo 10 feels more like a refresh, built for performance junkies than a basic annual update.

Only a few months after its debut in China, the Vivo iQOO Neo 10 has officially landed in India. And on paper, it’s one of the most specced-out phones we’ve seen in this price segment this year.

Think Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 144Hz AMOLED display, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. But with a starting price of ₹31,999 (~$375), how does it stack up?

Compared to the previous Neo 9, this is a serious jump in processing power. The Gen 4 chip runs cooler and more efficiently than the Neo 9’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, especially under gaming loads or during heavy multitasking. The display now reaches 5,500 nits peak brightness, and the new thermal design helps squeeze more screen time out of the larger battery.

But iQOO’s timing is tricky. Realme’s GT 6 and Poco F6 are circling the same ₹30K (~$300) mark with similar processors, while Vivo’s T4 and even Samsung’s Galaxy F56 offer competitive designs and camera setups. The Neo 10’s 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS is capable, but it’s not exactly a leap forward—and the 8MP ultrawide still feels like an afterthought.

That said, battery life might be where iQOO wins this round. 7,000mAh is massive, and pairing that with 120W fast charging makes this a great option for heavy users. Plus, iQOO is promising three years of Android updates and four years of security patches, something mid-range buyers are starting to demand.

In short, the Neo 10 delivers power, stamina, and slick design, but the competition is brutal. It’s a meaningful upgrade if you’re coming from the Neo 7 or older. But if you already grabbed the Neo 9, or are looking at the Poco F6 or Realme GT 6, it’s worth weighing your options.

It goes on sale June 3 via Amazon and iQOO’s e-store.
