Liquid Intelligent Technologies has acquired Cysiv MEA, a Cairo-based tech firm that specializes in providing enterprise cloud and cyber security services in the financial services sector.

Liquid, a London-based company with operations in the UK, Israel, Africa, the U.S., and Latin America, aims to use the acquisition to expand its business in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Liquid is already present in 13 African countries and entered the Nigerian market in December 2022. Its expansion into Egypt is expected to further boost its portfolio in the region.

The company plans to roll out cloud and cyber security solutions and make Egypt a key hub for the MENA region. Liquid will rebrand Cysiv MEA to 'Liquid C2' to align it with its global cloud and cyber security identity.

The acquisition of Cysiv MEA will expand Liquid's reach in the MENA region, providing its customers with access to world-class cloud and cyber security services.

This move demonstrates Liquid's commitment to providing comprehensive cyber security solutions and supporting its customers in an increasingly hostile global threat environment from cyber criminals and nation-state-sponsored attackers.
