Two Lord of the Rings games that have never appeared on a Nintendo console are coming to Switch 2.
Aspyr is bringing Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 30, 2026, as part of the Middle-earth: Shadow Bundle.
The bundle normally costs $69.99, but pre-orders are currently available for $34.99, giving players both games at 50% off. They will also be sold separately, with Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition priced at $19.99 and Shadow of War Definitive Edition at $49.99.
The preorder prices for the individual games are currently $9.99 and $24.99, respectively.

What's included in the Shadow Bundle?
The bundle includes the expanded versions of both games rather than their original base editions.
Shadow of Mordor comes as the Game of the Year Edition, including the main game and its major expansions such as The Lord of the Hunt and The Bright Lord.
Shadow of War comes as the Definitive Edition, including its major story and Nemesis expansions, including Blade of Galadriel, Desolation of Mordor, Slaughter Tribe, and Outlaw Tribe content.
Both games will launch on September 30.
What are Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War about?
The two games are open-world action adventures set in Tolkien's Middle-earth, but they tell an original story rather than retelling The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings.
Shadow of Mordor follows Talion, a Gondorian ranger who is killed alongside his family when Sauron's forces attack the Black Gate.
He is brought back to life through a mysterious connection with Celebrimbor, the Elven smith responsible for forging the Rings of Power. The two become bound together and set out across Mordor to fight Sauron's forces.
