Seedtag, an adtech startup coming out of Spain has raised over $250 million in its latest and biggest funding round since launch, in a single investment from Advent International.

  • The fund will be directed at expanding the startup beyond Europe, particularly deepening its presence in the US.
  • Seedtag is a contextual advertising technology startup that uses artificial intelligence to read content on a page or website to match the aims of the advertisers and also analyze ads performance.
  • Founded in 2014, the startup is developing privacy-first alternatives in advertising, a solution that allows companies to serve ads on platforms without raising security and privacy concerns which are popular among cookie-based ads.
  • It last raised $46 million eight years ago from Intelectium Business, Oakley Capital, All Iron Ventures, and Adara Ventures.
