Startups across Africa and the Middle East raised a combined $269 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds tracked by Techloy, with investor capital flowing primarily into AI security and healthtech. Three large Israeli AI-security deals accounted for most of the week's funding activity.

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Africa, the Middle East and Israel this week.
1. Zenity, $125 million, AI security, Israel
Zenity's platform helps companies secure and govern the AI agents they deploy at work, checking for security risks and making sure those agents follow company policy. Norwest Venture Partners led the Series C, joined by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and existing backers Intel Capital and DTCP, taking Zenity's total funding to roughly $185 million. The new capital will support the company's continued growth as demand for AI agent security rises.
