October is nearly over, but Xbox Game Pass still has a few treats lined up before the calendar turns to November. Six games are scheduled to arrive between October 26 and October 29, giving subscribers a mix of indie adventures, supernatural mysteries, survival horror and a major RPG release.

The biggest name on the list is undoubtedly Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Square Enix’s reimagining of its beloved RPG is finally making its way to Xbox, bringing Cloud Strife’s journey through Midgar to a new audience on the platform.

Here are all six Xbox Game Pass games arriving before the end of October, including their release dates and supported platforms.

Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving October 31, 2026
From Deep Rock Galactic’s co-op missions to two classic LucasArts adventures, here are the games to play before Game Pass access ends.

/1. Scramble Knights Online — October 26

The first game to arrive is Scramble Knights Online, an MMO-lite action RPG that puts players in the role of a knight-in-training exploring the shared kingdom of Terracott.

The idea is simple: explore the world, team up with friends, take on dungeons and monsters, and hunt for loot. You can then use your rewards to craft more powerful equipment before heading out on another adventure.

That loop of fighting, collecting, and upgrading could make this a good choice for anyone who enjoys action RPGs but wants something to play alongside friends. Its October 26 arrival also gives subscribers an early start before the bigger wave of releases later in the week.

/2. The Séance of Blake Manor — October 27

If supernatural mysteries are more your thing, The Séance of Blake Manor is one to watch. Set in Ireland in 1897, the game casts players as an investigator looking into the disappearance of Evelyn Deane at a remote hotel filled with secrets and unexplained events.

This isn't simply a case of finding clues and questioning suspects. The supernatural elements add another layer to the investigation, leaving players to work out what has happened while navigating the strange occurrences surrounding the hotel.

The game has already attracted attention on PC, where it earned a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, according to the information available ahead of its Xbox Game Pass arrival. Its October 27 release gives console players and subscribers another mystery to get stuck into.

/3. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade — October 29

This is the big one. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives on Xbox Game Pass on October 29, bringing Square Enix's modern reimagining of one of the most celebrated RPGs ever made to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud.

The story follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER operative who becomes involved with Avalanche, an eco-resistance group fighting against the Shinra Electric Power Company in the mako-powered city of Midgar.

Rather than simply updating the original game's visuals, the remake reworks its combat into a blend of real-time action and tactical commands, giving battles a different feel while retaining familiar characters and story elements. Intergrade also includes an additional adventure starring Yuffie Kisaragi.

/4. Mouthwashing — October 29

Not every Game Pass release needs to be a massive RPG. Mouthwashing is a first-person psychological horror game about the dying crew of a stranded space freighter, and its premise is considerably more disturbing than its name might suggest.

The story centres on Captain Curly and the crew he has doomed to a slow death. Curly survives the disaster but is left severely injured, unable to speak, and dependent on the very people whose lives he has destroyed.

From there, the game explores desperation, guilt and the breakdown of human relationships under extreme circumstances. It is an uncomfortable, story-driven experience rather than a conventional action-horror game, and that is precisely what makes it stand out.

Mouthwashing has earned “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam. Its arrival on October 29 gives Game Pass subscribers an opportunity to see why the indie horror title has attracted so much attention.

/5. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted — October 29

After all that horror, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted offers a rather different kind of battle. The remastered take on the original Plants vs. Zombies brings back the familiar fight between a garden full of defensive plants and waves of approaching zombies.

The main idea remains unchanged. Choose your plants, manage your resources and build a defence strong enough to stop the undead from reaching your home. Its colourful presentation and strategic simplicity helped make the original a standout tower-defence game, and Replanted aims to bring that experience back with HD visuals and additional secrets and content.

For returning players, this is a chance to revisit a classic with a fresh presentation. For newcomers, it is an opportunity to discover the game that helped turn Plants vs. Zombies into a major gaming franchise.

/6. Terrible Lizards — October 29

Rounding out the list is Terrible Lizards, a horror parkour game set at an old Route 66 attraction called Dalton's Dinos. The setting might sound like a quirky roadside stop, but something sinister is lurking beneath it.
