Xbox is rolling out four new console features, including two long-requested additions that players have been asking for for years.
Announced through the latest Xbox Insider update, the improvements include Party Chat recording, cloud save recovery, smarter achievement tracking and expanded wishlists.
Three features are currently available to Alpha Skip-Ahead Xbox Insiders, while the larger wishlist has already begun rolling out to all Xbox players.
Xbox finally lets players record Party Chat
Xbox players can now include Party Chat audio in gameplay recordings, a feature the community has requested for years.
Until now, captures only included gameplay. The update allows Party Chat voices to be recorded, provided every participant gives permission. Players can also choose to include in-game voice chat if they aren't using Party Chat.
Each participant decides whether their own voice is recorded, promising creators and friends more flexibility while preserving privacy.
Xbox executive Asha Sharma described the addition as a feature players have "been asking for for a long time."

Xbox introduces cloud save recovery
Microsoft is also introducing cloud save version history, allowing players to restore older save files instead of relying only on the latest backup.
The feature launches with Forza Horizon 6, where players can recover previous saves through Manage game & add-ons > Saved data > Restore saved data. Microsoft says support for additional games will be added in future updates.
