Nearly a decade after its original release, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands has received one of its biggest post-launch updates yet.
Ubisoft's free Last Rites update brings an all-new story mission, native 4K and 60 FPS support on PlayStation 5, expanded gameplay customization, new rewards, and several community-requested features. Whether you're a veteran Ghost returning to Bolivia or a first-time player, the update offers plenty of reasons to jump back in.
If you're wondering how to access the new mission and what else has changed, here's everything you need to know.
How to Play Ghost Recon Wildlands: Last Rites
Getting started with Last Rites is straightforward. Once you've downloaded and installed the latest Ghost Recon Wildlands update, the mission becomes immediately available.
Unlike some previous content updates, you don't need to complete the main campaign or meet any progression requirements before accessing the mission. Ubisoft has made Last Rites available from the start, allowing both new and returning players to experience the story right away.
To start playing:
- Update Ghost Recon Wildlands to the latest version.
- Launch the game.
- Select the Last Rites mission from the available missions.
- Play solo or team up with friends in co-op to tackle the new operation.
If you're playing on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Pro, you'll also benefit from the update's enhanced visuals and smoother performance automatically.
