Samsung has spent months testing One UI 9 on its Galaxy S26 series. Now, the next part of the rollout appears to be approaching, with signs that Galaxy S25 owners and Samsung’s recent foldables could soon get their turn.
The timing matters because One UI 9, based on Android 17, brings more than another visual refresh. Samsung is using the update to push further into AI-powered features, customisation and privacy controls.
When will One UI 9 Beta reach more Galaxy phones?
Samsung has confirmed that the fifth One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series is coming after a delay for additional quality and stability checks. Reports suggest the update is expected between August 10 and 15.
At the same time, Samsung has reportedly created beta programme pages for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. Internal testing of the S25 series has also been spotted, suggesting that Samsung is getting closer to opening the beta beyond its newest flagship phones.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are also expected to join the programme. The Galaxy S25 FE has been mentioned as another possible addition, although Samsung has yet to confirm the wider beta list.
