The headline PS Plus monthly games for November just got leaked

And this time, it looks like PlayStation has decided to lean into old classics rather than a new refresh.

Each month, gamers look forward to seeing what Sony has in store for its PlayStation Plus subscribers. After a fairly strong lineup in October, anticipation for November’s PS Plus Essential games is already building.

But it looks like one of the surprises for next month may not stay secret for long. A reliable leaker has already revealed what could be one of November’s headline titles.

Here are the PS Plus monthly games for October 2025
This month mix a blockbuster horror sequel with a chaotic sandbox and an inventive indie puzzle.

If you didn't already know, PlayStation Plus monthly games are part of Sony’s long-running subscription service that gives members access to a rotating selection of titles each month. There are three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium, with Essential being the base plan that includes online multiplayer access, cloud saves, and at least three downloadable games each month. Once claimed, these games remain playable as long as your subscription stays active.

Now, according to Dealabs’ trusted insider billbil-kun, one of the three PS5, PS4 games included in November’s lineup is Stray, the third-person cat adventure that had everyone meowing in delight when it first launched in 2022.

While Sony hasn’t officially confirmed this, billbil-kun has a strong record of accurate leaks, so it’s safe to say this one is worth paying attention to. If true, Stray will join the PS Plus Essential lineup on November 4, with an official announcement expected on October 29. It will also be available to claim for members across the Extra and Premium tiers.

Interestingly, Stray has a bit of history with PlayStation Plus. It first debuted as a day-one release on the service's higher tiers, PS Plus Extra and Premium, in 2022 before being removed from the catalog a year later. Its return to PlayStation on the 4th of November via the Essential tier feels like a second chance for those who missed it the first time. And for people who already had it from the last time...oh well.

For those who didn’t play it back then, Stray is developed by French studio BlueTwelve and published by Annapurna Interactive. It’s set in a neon-lit cybercity where players control a stray cat trying to find its way home through a world inhabited by droids and strange creatures. The game earned praise for its atmospheric storytelling and immersive world design, even IGN gave it an 8/10, calling it “a delightful cat-based platforming adventure in a cyberpunk world worth exploring.” With the official reveal just around the corner, Stray’s potential inclusion suggests Sony might be leaning on nostalgia and accessibility to keep subscribers engaged, especially as competition from services like Game Pass remains fierce. Whether this leak turns out to be accurate or not will be determined by the announcement on October 29, which will definitely be covered here.
