Vivo unveils the Vivo V50 Elite Edition in India
The Vivo V50 Elite is meant to be the more premium version of the V50 released earlier this year.

The vivo V50 Elite Edition is now available in India, offering a few notable upgrades over the regular V50 model, including more storage, a larger battery, and bundled wireless earbuds. At a time when most smartphone boxes are getting lighter on extras, vivo includes its TWS 3e earbuds at no additional cost.
With a focus on display quality, battery life, and camera performance, the Elite Edition positions itself as a balanced option in the mid-premium price range.

What's in the Box?
The V50 Elite Edition comes in a single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, priced at ₹41,999 ($419). The bundled Vivo TWS 3e earbuds in Dark Indigo would normally cost ₹1,899 ($22) if purchased separately. The phone itself costs just ₹1,000 ($12) more than the equivalent storage variant of the standard V50 that launched earlier this year.
For online buyers, Vivo is offering up to ₹3,000 ($35) cashback with select bank cards or up to ₹3,000 ($35) on exchange offers. There's also an option for up to six months of no-cost EMI. Similar offers are available for offline purchases, with slightly different participating banks.

Design and Display
Featuring a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel, the V50 Elite Edition delivers smooth visuals with its 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 4,500 nits peak brightness. Exclusively available in Rose Red, this sleek device measures 7.57mm thin and weighs 199g. It carries IP68 and IP69 certifications, promising reliable protection against dust and water exposure.
Battery and Charging
One of the more notable specifications is the 6,000mAh battery, which is larger than many competitors in this price range. The phone supports 90W fast charging and comes with a compatible charger in the box. While actual battery performance would require testing, the capacity suggests it could potentially last through heavy usage days.
Camera Setup
The phone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor featuring optical image stabilisation, complemented by a 50MP ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera is also a 50MP unit.
Notably, Vivo has integrated Zeiss optics and several portrait modes, including an India-exclusive Wedding Style Portrait mode, catering to local tastes. Although final image quality depends on software tuning, the hardware configuration is pretty impressive, to be honest, but we'll see how it actually performs with time.

Powering the Device
Under the hood, the V50 Elite Edition runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The phone comes with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box, and Vivo has committed to three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
AI Features
Like many 2025 smartphones, the V50 Elite Edition includes several AI-powered features. These include Google's Circle to Search, AI Screen Translation, Live Call Translation, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Eraser 2.06 for photo editing. These features have become increasingly common across mid-premium Android devices this year.
The Bundled Earbuds
The included Vivo TWS 3e earbuds feature active noise cancellation of up to 30dB and are rated for up to 42 hours of total battery life (or 36 hours with ANC enabled). They come with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. According to Vivo, they're tuned by the company's Golden Ear Acoustics Lab and feature 11mm drivers with composite cashmere biofiber diaphragms.

Conclusion
The Vivo V50 Elite Edition is Vivo’s way of standing out in the busy mid-range phone market. It has many of the same features as the regular V50, but the included wireless earbuds make it a better deal for the price. Since most phones now offer similar specs, extras like this may become more common as brands look for ways to win over buyers. For users looking for strong performance and a few thoughtful additions, the V50 Elite Edition is worth considering.
