Call screening is a Google feature that answers calls on your behalf and give you information about the caller/call, allowing you to choose a wide range of option for handling said call.

Call Screen utilizes Google Assistant, providing a transcript of the call. With the information, you can decide to decline the call, ask for more information, receive the call, or leave a message for the caller.

However, this feature is available in only a few countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Spain, the UK, and the US.

While the Call Screen feature is automatic, you have to grant permission to Google Assistant to screen your calls. In this article, we’ll guide you on how to set up and use the call screen on your Pixel phone.
