Venture capital trends in India have witnessed a shift towards early-stage investments, amid the ongoing funding challenges.

The early-stage landscape has remained resilient in the face of a funding winter that has continued to embattle the late stages. Looking at the numbers, the stage registered an 89% increase in deal volume in Q2 2023 compared to Q1 2023. Pre-seed and seed-stage deals collectively raised $192.7 million in Q2, marking a 67% surge from Q1, as reported by DealStreetAsia.
