In Kenya, access to affordable education is one of the major problems facing the country. With over 55 million in population, as of 2021, only 10.72 million and 10.17 million have enrolled in primary schools for the years 2019 and 2020 respectively, according to data from Statista.
Whereas, according to USAID, over 65% of the Kenyan population is living in poverty, as they are earning less than $3.20 daily.
