In 2022, the mobile economy witnessed some significant changes as spending on Android decreased by almost 7%, mainly due to a decline in global game revenue.
Meanwhile, spending on iOS continued to grow, though at a slower rate than in previous years, with a year-over-year increase of only 1%. This is the first time ever that either of the categories has witnessed a decline in YoY growth.
