The introduction of Language Model tools like ChatGPT in November 2022 marked a significant paradigm shift in how we interact with online information. These tools brought the capability to not only retrieve search results but also engage in conversational-style interactions, transforming our traditional approach to internet searches.

Major players in the industry, such as Google, which holds over 86% of the search market share, and its prominent competitor Microsoft, recognized the potential of generative AI to revolutionize the search experience with artificial intelligence.

In February 2023, Microsoft responded by integrating OpenAI's GPT-4 model into Bing, offering users a conversational search experience. Microsoft boasted impressive statistics, with up to 10 billion daily searches and 100 million daily active users benefiting from this innovation.
