Industries across Indonesia have increased their investment in Big Data and Analytics software for better business decision-making to keep up with the changing market environment, according to International Data Corporation (IDC)

The Big Data and Analytics software market in the region grew 14.7% year-over-year (YoY) in the first half of 2022 (H1 22), accelerating from 12.5% YoY in the second half of 2021 (H2 21), according to the report.

Nonrelational Analytic Data Stores is the fastest-growing submarket in the Big Data and Analytics software market, with a 64.4% YoY growth rate and is expected to continue to grow in line with the increasing number of internet users and Internet of Things (IoT) adoption in Indonesia.

Continuous Analytics Tools is the second fastest-growing submarket in the BDA market, with a 48.5% YoY growth rate. AI Software Platforms is the third fast-growing submarket, growing 45.3% YoY while the Supply Chain and Product Analytic Applications submarket sits last with a growth of 31.2% YoY in the BDA market.
