Automakers are taking inspiration from the tech world to create innovative features for electric vehicles. 

Tesla, one of the most popular electric vehicle makers, has touted its vehicles as more than just cars that have a range of game-changing entertainment technologies and services built in to drive the future of mobility.

For example, the Elon Musk-owned EV company has blazed the trail on "over-the-air" software updates that have fixed issues with cameras or taillight malfunctions on its electric vehicles.
