Tridge, a Korean platform matching food agriculture buyers and sellers, has raised $37.2 million in its Series D funding round, led by DSAsset, a South Korean private equity firm, at a $2.7 billion valuation.

  • The fund will be used to launch its new services, invest in its technology stack, and further expand its businesses to Europe, the US, and countries like Turkey, Brazil, India, Vietnam, and Tanzania.
  • Tridge is a food and agriculture online sourcing platform. It helps businesses safely and reliably source food and agricultural markets while empowering buyers with extensive market intelligence for improved decision-making. It sources agricultural products from more than 150 countries and also enables sellers with perishable goods to diversify their sales channels to find buyers at the right time.
  • Tridge's market intelligence service launched in 2020 provides food supply chain analysis and market reports of agricultural products and commodities, including apples, strawberries, tomatoes, avocados, black peppercorn, coconut, garlic, seafood, and coffee bean. Its data covers up to 15,000 products and 50,000 price updates.
  • The agritech startup has increased in valuation and monthly sales since it raised its Series C in September 2021– increasing sales from $7.4 million to $15 million and $23 million monthly, it claims.
