Hybrid and Electric Car manufacturer, BYD has continued to lead the NEVs segment (including plug-in hybrids and EVs) in China as it made 234,598 deliveries in December 2022, a new industry report says.
Local Chinese manufacturer Wuling was a distant second, with 85,632 deliveries, while Tesla China followed with 55,796.
The report released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) found that estimated that China's new energy vehicle sales in December increased by 45% year-on-year to 730,000 units and a month-on-month increase of 6.5%, maintaining an upward trend from January to December.
