Global passenger electric vehicle (EV) sales grew 71% YoY in Q3 2022 as the world moves towards a greener alternative for power and demand for electric vehicles grows globally, according to a report from Counterpoint.

The report finds that the global electric vehicle market share constituted over 15% of the world’s passenger vehicle sales in Q3 2022 with three of the top five best-selling EV brands from China.
