Global passenger electric vehicle (EV) sales grew 32% YoY in Q1 2023 as the world moves towards a greener alternative for power and demand for electric vehicles grows globally, according to a report from Counterpoint.
The global electric vehicle market share constituted ~14% of the world’s passenger vehicle sales in the quarter, to put that in perspective, one in every seven cars sold in the quarter was an EV.
