In Q3 of 2023, global smartphone sales continued their downward trend, marking the lowest consecutive third quarter of decline in a decade with an 8% year-over-year drop. However, it grew 2% quarter-over-quarter.

The decline was observed across the top 5 smartphone OEMs, with all of them marking YoY declines in the quarter due to a slower-than-expected recovery in consumer demand.
